An uncle was here to visit some days ago. But I forgot which day, coz I totally lost track of days and dates, bumming around at home.
I finally saw my cute cousin Jolene again!! Ahhh.. Kids really grow fast.. Look how pretty she has become! Wearing the cute hair clips my mama bought from Korea~
Have I ever told you I have a new baby cousin??? She was born in around Jan - Feb this year. There was a party for her when she was a month old, but we couldnt attend coz we were mourning. Well anyways, uncle and auntie brought her here that day!! Younger sister of Jolene a.k.a my baby cousin a.k.a Wan Yi ak.a Cheryl~!!!
Everyone did a bit of catching up, and of course I shared with them stories about my trip to Taiwan! And inevitably, the fact that I'm bumming around was mentioned. *Ahem*
So heng! Auntie has lobang! Wahahahha! But the job is sort of unrelated to my diploma.. It's an opening for a Planner. Sorta like a planner for the plant/manufacturing schedule you know.. Go around the manufacturing plant and get samples, plan the schedule etc etc. I was like, HUH???? She works as one too, that's why she knew about the job opening. The work place is like, stone throw away from my place?? haha~ She even laughed at my Expected Salary!! Oh gosh... Is $1500 very low for a dip grad like me??? Hmmmm................
Tho a job at this crucial moment is gonna save my ass... I wasn't that interested.
Firstly it's because I don't even know what the hell I'll be doing~~

Being a driven and high-reaching person, I never stop searching for a suitable job! So I found one that said "Admin Assistant - $1500 per month". Wow... Not bad for Admin Asst.. Coz the market rate is ard $1200?? So I went for it!!
Just minutes after I sent my resume, I got a call for an interview!! WAHAHHAHAHAHAHA~ Freaking amazing.. And being an eager and earnest worker, I passed the first interview!! The recruitment officer recommended me to work as a Customer Service Consultant instead, coz I mentioned I have interest in that field. Woot! Higher pay!
2nd Interview was today (Thursday) afternoon. And it turned out that the company is StarHub. Big company, shouldn't be that bad? I was sooo excited about getting the job I asked ard about StarHub. I did my homework, did some research and practised my interview session. Ta-dah!! It worked~~ Out of 10 qn I was asked, 7 were in my Interview Tips.doc LOL~
I seriously put in effort in preparing for this interview. The research, the practice, waking up earlier (tho I clubbed the night b4) and my attire.
Very formal here. But it's definitely better to overdress than to underdress. =>
But I was kinda upset when the interview was done. The interviewer, Jane (she's quite cute!) said she will inform my agency within 7 working days about the results. Think about this, if she decided to choose me, she would have told me on the spot, ain't it??? Damn........... I had a bad feeling.. There and then! I think I cocked up during the last 2 qn. The last 2 qn was rehearsed, but I forgot what I wanted to say! Oh my.. The first word I said out loud after leaving the building was "SHYT"So I wallowed in self-pity as I walked to the bus-stop, about to head for home. Then I got a ring from the agency,I'M HIRED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*ding dong ding dong*Yay~ I'm starting my training coming Monday. 4 weeks of classroom training, and then 2 weeks of on-the-job training.
